Joan Miles is a graduate of Coosa Valley Technical College where she graduated with a diploma in Business/Medical Office Technology. She has been employed with The George Chambers Resource Center as their Financial Officer, for over ten years. Joan is Chair of the Human Resource and Technology Committees. Before working with George Chambers Resource Center she lived in Clarksville Tennessee. While there she worked for the Foster Grandparents Program as an Assistant to the Director. Joan has worked in the accounting field for more than twenty years, most of which was in retail or for profit businesses. She has four children, two grown daughters and two grown sons. Joan also has two male Yorkies, Corbin Blue and Dewey. She sweetly refers to them as, ‘my babies now’. Joan is a diehard Tennessee fan. GO VOLS!
